Haifaa Jawad

Haifaa Jawad is an honorary senior lecturer at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. She holds a PhD from the University of Exeter, also in the UK, and has held teaching positions at several academic institutions, including Westhill College, New England College, Trinity College in Dublin, and the University of Alabama. She focuses her research on the sociopolitical study of Islam and Muslims, and she’s currently working on a project on the universal principles of the Qur’an related to gender.
