Umeyye Isra Yazicioglu

Umeyye Isra Yazicioglu is an associate professor in religious studies at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia. Her areas of expertise include classical and modern Qur’anic interpretation, Islamic theology, Islamic mysticism, and Christian-Muslim relations. She is a member of the American Academy of Religion and the National Society for Scriptural Reasoning. She received her PhD from the University of Virginia and her M.A. from Hartford Seminary.
