Zena Hitz

Zena Hitz is a tutor at St. John’s College. She is the author of Lost in Thought and A Philosopher Looks at the Religious Life and the founder of the Catherine Project. Her work explores the need to learn for its own sake and human nature and virtue in the thought of Plato and Aristotle. She studied at St. John’s College, Cambridge University, the University of Chicago, and Princeton before teaching philosophy at McGill University, Auburn University, and UMBC.
