Claus Dierksmeier

University of Tubingen

Claus Dierksmeier is a German philosopher and serves as the director of the Global Ethic Institute at the University of Tubingen, Germany. He researches and publishes on the idea of freedom, political and economic philosophy, business ethics, corporate social responsibility, and globalization ethics. He previously taught at the Stonehill College in Boston and completed his PhD from the University of Hamburg. He is currently researching a theory of qualitative freedom, an attempt to reconstruct political liberalism through a contemporary lens.
